About these tools
NeatKit is a single toolbox for the small text jobs that come up around writing and editing — counting words against a limit, cleaning up a messy paste, comparing two drafts, converting a title to a slug, testing a regular expression, or keeping a focus timer running while you work. Rather than one tool per browser tab from a dozen different sites, everything sits in one place with a shared editor, a common command palette (press ⌘K), and a consistent way of working.
Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Text you type or paste is processed on your device and is never uploaded to a server, so the tools keep working offline once the page has loaded and a confidential draft, an internal export, or an unpublished manuscript never leaves your machine. There is nothing to install and no account required to use any of them.
Writing10
Count, measure, and reshape prose while you draft. Every number updates as you type.
Text11
Line-level surgery for lists, logs, and exports. Compare, dedupe, sort, and extract.
Productivity6
Timers, notes, goals, and trackers for a writing session. Each one keeps its state between visits.
